To blog or not to blog...

In true Hamlet like fashion, though admittedly regarding a decision of far less consequence than patricide, I started this site two months ago in work space boredom, ambivalent about the wisdom and benefit of keeping a blog.

Today, I decided to try it out after reading a Tanzanian young professional's blog detailing his career deliberations which mirror so closely my own. I found it comforting to see that my kind of confusion exists thousands of miles away. What a world!

Maybe one day I'll write something in this space that comforts or informs someone else, and thus turns thought and word into meaningful action.

[Hamlet 3.1 85-90]

Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action.
